The couple met on a skiing trip in Italy and rumour has it that Gareth asked Natasha to marry him on one of the first nights of après ski jols.  At that stage, she did not pay much attention, but a year later on a trip to Rio,  the magic happened! Gareth popped the question. Fast-forward a bit and here we are, at their wedding ceremony in Stellenbosch!

The nice thing about this wedding venue is that everything is on-site.  Both the bride and groom did their preps in separate cottages and the ceremony took place in the Rose conservatory (the purpose-built wedding chapel).  Pre-drinks was done on the lawns overlooking the beautiful Stellenbosch mountains and the reception in the checkered floored main venue hall at Brenaissance.

As usual at Greek weddings there was plenty of traditional dancing, breaking of plates and drinking of expensive whiskey.  It’s a miracle that one of us was not injured by pieces of broken plates flying around – this one was one of the roughest we’ve had! The Greeks certainly know how to throw a bridal bash!
