Just over 2 months ago we had the opportunity to take some Vrede en Lust Wedding Photos.  I just love this wedding venue in the heart of the winelands just outside Paarl and Franschhoek.  It is no surprise that Vrede en Lust comes in at number 3 in our Top 10 Wedding Venues in Cape Town.  In the the last few years, Vrede en Lust have made some big and impressive changes to their venue facilities.  They have added more guest accommodation and also created stunning new outdoor ceremony as well as pre-drinks areas.  Both new facilities can be seen in the wedding pictures below.

Vrede en Lust Wedding Photos

Kensi and Nelson both from Gauteng, loves the Cape Winelands and it was a natural choice for them to tie the knot on an authentic Cape Town wine Farm with mountains and vineyards and lovely Cape Dutch architecture.  They are a sophisticated couple that loves the finer things in life and Vrede en Lust offered all they could dream of.

Kensi and the girls got ready in the Residence, a luxury new addition to the the accommodation options at Vrede en Lust.  Click on this link to read more about this stunning house that is perfect for classy and stylish bridal preparations.  The bride and her bridesmaids were dressed by Miss Boss Bridal Couture.

Nelson and the boys got ready in one of the cottages on the farm.  Great location, as it is a mere 100m away from the ceremony setting.  The boys sported custom suits tailored by Frank Bespoke.

The unique circular ceremony setup, with bride and groom in the middle and guests fanned around them, created a lovely intimate setting for Kensi and Nelson to make their life long promises to each other.  After the ceremony, the marriage register was signed in the Manor House and as the the newly weds made their appearance through the historic old oak front door, they were showered by rose petals – such a joyous moment!  Taking Vrede en Lust Wedding Photos is a feast!  There is just so much to work with!

The Pre-drinks area with fountain in the middle was beautifully dressed with stylish furniture and guests enjoyed a relaxing time together while sipping champagne and enjoying the scrumptious canapés.  In the mean time, we took the couple for some Vrede en Lust Wedding Photos on the Estate.  We utilised the oak tree lined lane leading up to the manor house and the vineyards behind the reception area. The timing was perfect and we got that lovely golden sunset photos that every bride dreams of.

The reception decor was out of this world – such an amazing job done by Wedding Concepts!  And the outdoor dance floor was a great decision as it was a windless late spring evening. Once the speeches were done, our couple opened the partying with a lovely dance under the stars.  Kensi and Nelson’s romantic wedding at Vrede en Lust is one to remember.
