Our first wedding at Asara Wine Estate in Stellenbosch was nearly a total wash-out!  But the “gods” must have looked upon our Greek couple with favour as soon as the ceremony started, the heaven cleared and it turned out to be the perfect weather.

Alexie and Maria got the perfect golden hour for their couple photos – a session we are very happy with after stressing the whole week about the very rainy forecast!

The evening ended off with the traditional Greek soldiers dance by the groom and his best men and off-course, a lot of plates being broken while bottles of Johnny Walker black was generously consumed and used as fire starter.
