Roche Bobois has just opened its first showroom in Cape Town and ZaraZoo got to cover this very stylish event!  Roche Bobois is the world leader in high-end furniture and continues its international expansion at a rate of one opening per month.

The official launch took place on Thursday the 19th in the showroom, located in the heart of Cape Town in the Kloof Street neighborhood, a district known for its diversity, its modernity and its cultural dynamism.

Roche Bobois CEO, Gilles Bonan,who shares his ambitions for South Africa:

Cape Town is the first step. Of course we are very ambitious for this country; Johannesburg is natural as a second stage and then we’ll see but possibly we could have three or four stores in South Africa in the coming years

Brand Launch Event for Roche Bobois Cape Town

Also attending the event, was one of Roche Bobois most renowned designers, Sacha Lakic, well known for his automotive designs.   The launch, a glamorous cocktail evening, was hosted in the new 700sqm showroom in Cape Town. Media, interior decorators, architects and very VIP coming from all around the country and abroad, met to celebrate the official launch of the first Roche Bobois in South Africa.

Today, Roche Bobois has more than 250 showrooms in nearly 50 countries. 15 new openings occurred in 2015, in very vibrant cities such as Miami, Bucharest, Mumbai…

With more of a global presence than ever before, Roche Bobois embodies the full diversity of French design. Thanks to its long-established network of European manufacturers and relationships with talented designers such as Ora Ito, Cédric Ragot, Sacha Lakic, Christophe Delcourt, Stephen Burks… and partnerships with prestigious fashion houses the likes of Jean Paul Gaultier, Sonia Rykiel Maison, Missoni Home, the brand has established an international presence by offering every client a personalized approach to home design and decor.
