Join the ZaraZoo team as an Intern!
The new wedding season is about to start and like we do every year, we are ready to take in an Intern!
Over the years, we have taken in and shaped no fewer than 6 interns. All of them got permanent positions after their internship ended and 4 of them now run their own photography and video business!
We take a lot of pride in our apprenticeship program and you can read more about it in this post.
Kickstart your Photography Career
Who are we looking for?
We are looking for a creative individual (male/female) with a lot of passion for photography. Skills can be taught and experience can be gained, but passion and creativity you are born with. A background in photography and coursework is a bonus. Knowledge of Adobe Lightroom and Photoshop will count also count in your favour. We are based in Durbanville, so ideally you would live within 30 mins of our studio. Oh yes, I forgot to mention that this is a full-time position.
What will you learn?
You will gain practical experience, working alongside our seasoned photographers. You will go on shoots, learn how to edit photos and get valuable everyday input in our office environment. Apart from photography and editing skills, we will also give you training in Quoting, Invoicing, Contracts and other administrative duties. You will also learn the ins and outs of promoting a business on Social Media and other forms of marketing. Basically, when you are done with your internship, you will have a good foundation to start your own photography business!
How much does it cost?
It will cost you nothing! We are willing to train, teach and educate you for free! And to further sweeten the deal, we will pay you a monthly salary in exchange for your time and hard work!
How to apply?
Send us your CV and your 10 best lifestyle/wedding images to firstname.lastname@example.org. Successful applicants will be called in for an interview and if we like you, you can start straight away. Ideal start date would be asap, but we know some of you would need time to wrap up other commitments. When the photography internship ends you might be offered a full-time position with ZaraZoo!
Remember, this is a Full-Time Position.
