One of our first outings for the season was Mmanake & Tshepo’s Johannesburg Wedding at the Inanda Polo Room. This venue is one of the largest in Gauteng and the very reason our couple booked it. The wedding was attended by no fewer than 450 guests from all over.
Meletlo Celebrations did a fantastic job with the coordination. They teamed up with wedding wizards, Afresh Design, the Gauteng Flower & Decor specialists, to transform the venue into the magical fairytale setting that our couple envisaged.

A Beautiful South African Wedding in Jozi
To fit in with the classic style of the newly renovated facilities, they decided on a very smart Black and White theme, with Tshepo and his boys sporting classic Italian cut Bogozza suits and our bride looking all too glamorous in her royal inspired gown. Here’s Mmanake’s description of her Pronovias Dress:
I wanted to look like a princess, so I went for the princess look, and wanted to cover my shoulders, hence the look. My aim was to look absolutely royalty. The dress also had the swan looking effect, which for me illustrated purity! Absolutely loved it.
Bride and Groom both got ready at their parents’ house respectively and from there travelled to St.Martins-in-the-Veld Anglican Church. A church wedding was not negotiable – a true classical traditional wedding! After the vows, the wedding party travelled 40km back to Inanda Polo Room for the reception. The new re-developed Inanda Club offers a number of function venues including a 500-seater ballroom, 5 smaller meeting rooms. The meeting rooms have spectacular views of Sandton and are ideal for conferences, meetings, cocktail functions, sit down dinner and the like.
The couple photos were taken at the venue itself and around the stables. The lighting was perfect, just around sunset – This allowed Natelee to get some stunning backlit photos and soft light for the close-ups.
