Inimitable Wedding Photos
Kedy & Saneli
Little did I know that these Inimitable Wedding Photos would be the last we’d do for some time to come. Kedy & Saneli’s wedding on the 6 of March at Zavion Kotze’s stunning Gauteng Wedding Venue was the very last one we shot before all public gatherings were seized in the wake of the WHO Global Pandemic announcement on the 15th of March.
As I write this blog, we still do not have any idea of when we would be able to work again, to do what we love most, to create beautiful memories for our stunning clients! We hope and pray that we can get back in action soon, but until then, we will be thankful for all the memorable weddings we’ve been part of over the years. We are so happy to share this lovely set of photos with you!
Inimitable Wedding Photos
I had heard and seen so many photos of this stunning new venue in Gauteng, but when I finally set foot on the Inimitable Estate, I understood what all the fuss was about. This venue is world class. It is modern, sophisticated and stylish. The grounds are immaculate and versatile. The architecture is innovative and fresh. Best of all, you have all the facilities on site!
Both Kedy and Saneli got ready at Inimitable – each entourage in their own suite, conveniently located right next to the chapel. After the romantic ceremony in the lovely glass chapel that makes you feel like you are inside a forest, the guests enjoyed canapes and we took our bride and groom for their couple photo shoot. There was no need to go anywhere else as the estate offers so much in terms of photo opportunities. First we made use of the shade of the trees on the banks of the river that snakes through the estate. And then we headed up the hill where we got the most stunning landscapes in the grasslands as the sun went down.
The reception hall with glass on 3 sides is spacious and versatile. It is a blank canvas that can be transformed to just about any theme. I can now see why most photographers yearn to take Inimitable Wedding Photos! One of my favourite shots of the day is the reflection photo of the hall at dusk. It makes the glass house look like a floating space ship! That photo was just just start of a memorable night of celebrations that we were honoured to be part of!
Saneli & Kedy, your wedding was one of my favourites of the last few years. You are such a lovely couple, so in love, so chilled and such a joy to work with. I am looking forward to the day when this pandemic is over and we can meet again!
