The Beautify of Traditional Hindu Weddings

Avani & Virsen’s wedding was a massive production – a massive stage of more than 30m wide and a specially fabricated backdrop depicting the snow-capped holy mountains in India. The sound, light and video control desk alone looked nothing short of those you’ll find at a big theatre production! Avani told us that she had started planning her wedding when she was only 12 – a fairytale wedding for a fairytale bride… The colours and traditions of a Hindu wedding is spectacular.

Since I had two weddings on the trot in Durban – we made it a family holiday – looking forward to doing the same again next year around July – nothing better than getting away from the biting cold and wet Cape Town weather during winter!
