Grand Beach & Cafe Party
Ayah & Louay’s wedding celebrations started with a welcoming party at the Grand Beach & Cafe in Cape Town. The next day they hosted a picnic at Landtscap in Stellenbosch and the grand finale, the wedding, was hosted at Nooigedacht Wine Estate, also in Stellenbosch.
Childhood sweethearts, Ayah (Fashion Designer) and Louay (Interior Designer) got married back in Dubai but wanted to host a week of lavish celebrations in one of their favourite cities of the world – Cape Town.
The Grand Beach and Cafe was the first stop – just a “small little party” to welcome their guests that came from all over the world… What better place to start off than Grand beach and Cafe with its white private beach and fantastic views of Table Bay, Table Mountain and the V&A Waterfront. Read more about this venue in our Review of Grand Beach & Cafe. Did I forget to mention that they brought their own DJ from Beirut along to kickstart the party! How cool is that!!
Picnic at Landtscap
To continue the build-up to the big day at Nooitgedacht, they hosted a relaxed picnic at Landtscap in Stellenbosch. Landtscap is set on top of one of the hills that edges the Devon Valley. From there, you can almost see the whole of the Cape Peninsula, with panoramic vistas of the Stellenbosch mountains, vineyards and False Bay. At the picnic, Two Chefs setup food stations and assisted the guests to build their own burgers. This all while they were entertained by local folk star, Jeremy Loops – man these people know how to party! More photos of Landtscap (we covered their venue launch)
Keep an eye on the blog for Ayah & Louay’s wedding at Nooitgedacht that will be featured next week.
