ZaraZoo recently did the corporate incentive photos for a group of top Africa achievers when they traveled to Hong Kong and China. ZaraZoo was hired by Impact Incentives to document the whole trip after which we presented each achiever with a custom photo book that included all the photos of them taken during the holiday.
We started in Hong Kong. Achievers stayed in the 5-star Langham Place hotel in Kowloon. Sites visited included Stanley Market, Victoria Peak, the Jumbo floating restaurant and historic cruises on the Star Ferry and Aqua Luna boat. Achievers also had a day outing to DisneyLand Hong Kong. It was my second time in Hong Kong and for me the view from Victoria Peak is still the highlight. From there you get a fantastic view of the whole of Hong Kong and all the sky-rise flats that is home to more than 8 Million people. Coming close to that was the lazer show that we saw from the Aqua Luna Restaurant that is high up on the 14th floor of 1 Peking place right on the waterfront. The buildings on the opposite side of the river has lazers in the facade and are synchronised with music to create a fantastic light show. It is called the Symphony of Lights
From Hong Kong we took a flight to Berlin for the 2nd part of the trip. Beijing is China’s capital and is one of the most historic cities in the world. Here we visited the the Forbidden City, Tainanmen Square and plenty of electronics and silk markets littered with replicas of big American brands and goods that are “Made in China”. The highlight of the tour was the Gala dinner on the Great wall of China.
Juliet and Melanie of Impact Incentives did an outstanding job with the organisation and getting all the delegates to the sites on time. Most impressive was their pulling off of the Gala Dinner on The Great Wall of China, despite a torrential downpour midway through the setup.
