We’ve so excited to share these Cavalli Wedding Pictures with you!

Moses and Monique’s lavish wedding at Cavalli was our first of 2020 – and what a fantastic way to start the new decade!  When I met with the couple last year for their pre-wedding shoot (see the photos), I knew that this would be a special wedding – and I was so right!

Monique was definitely not an ordinary bride.  Fashion runs deep through her very being and one could see how she lived out her sense of style and personality in all aspects of the wedding.  Her lovely Evelyn Lambert wedding dress totally stole the show, but that was not all – the bridesmaids sported head pieces made from peacock feathers and brightly coloured flower bouquets and all the decor bursted with colour.  It was like a rainbow explosion – unlike any other Cavalli Wedding Pictures we have done!

Both bride and groom got ready in beautiful Camps Bay with towering table mountain on the one flank and stunning vistas over the Atlantic ocean on the other side.  The Villa where Monique did her preps looked like something out of a movie set and I just love the shots we got, of her standing on the balcony, overlooking the beach and Lions head in the distance.

The ceremony was conducted in the sunken garden at Cavalli and Monique and her bridesmaids were ushered in by an energetic Zulu Dancing performance (Afrodizzyacts) while guests looked on in awe.  After the romantic ceremony, guests enjoyed canapés and bubbly on the lawn overlooking the lush Cavalli Vineyards and the Stellenbosch mountains in the background.

All the couple photos were done on Cavalli.  But this shoot had a bit of a twist.  Monique insisted on colourful smoke granades – such a vibrant and wonderful addition that tied in perfectly with the colourful theme of the wedding! The reception decor was an explosion of colour!  The work done with the flowers and decor (N Concepts) were world class and I have to commend the team of Trunk Events for their super coordination skills to pull all the strings together for a magnificent end result!

Moses and Monique’s wedding is one of the most colourful we ever covered and probably one of the most high profile.  We had the queen of Uganda (related to Monique) and other dignitaries in attendance.  It was a day that I will remember for some time to come!  We love you Moses and Monique and hope you have an adventurous and happy married life!
