It is kind of surreal to post this blog today. Choosing these Cavalli Wedding photos not only brought back memories of an awesome day with Sharon & Kundai, but also gave me a sense of gratitude of the Freedom we had back then. It has been just 8 days since lockdown due to the Corona Virus and photos like these help me to imagine that I am somewhere else and not stuck at my house 🙂

We all hope for fair weather on our wedding day and it looked like we might be lucky, but as it got closer to the ceremony time, Chelsea (coordinator) had to make the tough call to move the ceremony inside to the Gallery at Cavalli. Luckily the weather disruption was short lived. As the ceremony finished, we had clear skies and the most beautiful light for the photos with the bridal party.

Unfortunately, due to the delays we had no time for a couple shoot, but it all worked out for the best! We met up with Sharon & Kundai the next day and we had the venue for ourselves to play around and take our time. It turned out to be one of the best decisions as we got some incredible shots that we would not have on the day!

The decor was just out of this world and we loved loved loved the Black theme! So daring! Since it was such a big wedding, our couple booked a second photographer to cover all the details and angles we could not get to. Schanel Merwe, it was lovely working with you on this one.
