Brenaissance Wedding in Winter
Brenaissance
Face it, winter weddings are a bit risky – especially in Cape Town! With an average of 14 rainy day in the months of July and August, you basically have a 50/50 chance of a wash-out!
So you won’t plan for an outdoor ceremony and you’ll definitely have a backup plan to move the pre-dinner drinks to a dry location. But then again, you might be blessed with one of the most beautiful crisp clean green-grass-blue-skied days…
Gina and Derik, I’m sure planned for the worst, but instead, got one of those rare clear days without a drop of rain. Their venue, Brenaissance in Stellenbosch could handle the wet weather though…It has an indoor chapel for the ceremony and plenty of room in the reception venue should the pre-drinks have to be moved indoors.
Brenaissance is a brand new all-in-one venue in the Devon Valley just outside Stellenbosch. It has several ceremony options, including a chapel that can seat a 100+ guests and expansive lawns overlooking the vineyards – the latter, perfect for outdoor ceremonies. Apart from the main reception venue with part chequered floor, the chapel can also double up as alternative reception venue.
Watch this space – Brenaissance is deemed to become one of the most popular wedding venues of this season!
