2006 – Not quite Mr & Mrs

Our story started back in 2006 when we met through a mutual friend, we knew there was a spark the minute we started chatting.

We have been inseparable ever since. We took the leap of faith to long distance as we both wanted career development and I moved to London. It was tough but it lasted.

2011 – He put a ring on it

On the 7th August 2011, we got engaged! We have been together for 5 years! I was worried that Sanjeeva was never going to arrange it as he was taking his time…

It was a FABULOUS day! A sunny, rather warm day in the Cape at the end of winter!! To my surprise, we had stopped at the 12 Apostles Hotel & Spa. Welcomed in luxury with champagne and lead to the leopard bar for drinks. The most amazing sunset on this day and the waiter suggested moving to the balcony, to get some pics, little did I realize that as I turn around he would be on one knee! He popped the question and I said: “Did you ask my dad first” afterwards, yes! “About damn time“ What a perfect proposal it was, I was very surprised and very excited! I do, I do, I do! Now we’re getting married.

This engagement photo shoot was one of our most stylish sessions to date. Everything from the couple’s black suit and dress, to the velvet purple couch on the sandy shore.
