Wow, this month is busy! In Feb, ZaraZoo has 7 wedding photography bookings and 5 wedding videos. We are experiencing quite the opposite to the economic slowdown and we have to be thankful for that!
Every wedding has a few classic moments and we work hard to capture them. The photo above is one of my favourites of this season.

Heidi got ready in the Manor house that is decorated in an old Cape Dutch style. Her hair and make-ip was done by Fabienne Zadel. I adore this couple. We got along so well throughout – Phil, you are a top man – Heidi your natural beauty and personality is a photographers dream! Check out Phil and Heidi’s E-session done at Blouberg.
Webersburg in a very versatile and highly organised wedding venue. It caters for every crowd, from the relaxed bedouin wedding, to formal black tie do’s. The high ceilings of the reception venue and amazing balcony at the restaurant looking out over the mountains, give a feeling of space. It also has plenty of overnight accommodation for guests and family.
The ceremony happened in the air conditioned cellar, a good choice on the day, because we had 32 degrees heat – an outdoor ceremony would have been murder. After the ceremony it cooled down a bit and we did the couple shots in the vineyards. Webersburg has plenty of photo opportunities – a mix of old and new, great architecture and amazing views of the Stellenbosch mountains.
The Canape’s was served on the deck outside the restaurant. By now, the weather had turned and we saw a thunderstorm brewing in the distance. It worked out perfectly. Just as all the guests were seated and the bride and groom made their entrance, the first drops started falling.

Webersburg Wine Estate is situated in the Cape Winelands of South Africa. It is one of the top wedding venues in the Western Cape. The venue is managed by Aleit Wedding Coordination.
