Twitter… what’s the fuss?

That’s what I thought for a while… And then I decided to give it another shot on Monday. Its so coool!!

Basically, it’s a way to stay in touch with what’s happening in the world when it happens! For instance, if I’ m following CNN on twitter, I will be notified of news as it happens – to my mobile phone and my laptop!

So, you no longer have to go to a website or blog to look for new content – just follow them on twitter and you are sorted!!

Here’s a few steps th at will make it easier for you.

Sign up to Twitter.
Search for friends, people, websites and news you want to follow.
Set up a twitter application on your cell phone – I’m using Pocket Twit (It’s free)
Set up Tweet Deck on your desktop or laptop. Tweet Deck allows you to follow Facebook Status & Twitter and update your status for both from one application. (It’s free)!!

Be warned…. It is very addictive!! But be sure to receive the latest news from your friends and favourite blogs as soon as they update their status!!
