Tenille & Sheldon was facing a disaster with their photographer canceling just 2 weeks before the wedding! Luckily they came across our photos of Lauren & Craig’s wedding – and Andre was still available to cover their wedding! – Problem solved!!!

Tennille and the girls got ready on the adjacent Asara Wine Estate. Asara, also a wedding venue, has the most amazing view of the Helderberg mountains. Tennille’s heavily pregnant sister was one of the bridesmaids – her due date was very close – close enough to be a wedding baby – luckily she held out and gave birth to a baby boy on the 2nd of March! Congratulations!!!
The outdoor ceremony was held in the gardens of the Neethlingshof Manor house and the reception in the Palm Terrace. This is the second wedding we shoot at Neethlingshof this year. See Lilian & Haydn’s Wedding shot at Neethlingshof in December.
Neethlingshof has plenty of photo opportunities. Everyone knows the famous pine tree lane at the entrance; then you have the Stellenbosch mountains in the background and all the Cape Dutch architecture to work with – a photographers dream!
The “Happy Times” was put together by Tennille – It is a wedding newspaper with advice and messages from family and friends – what a cool idea!!! Wait till the industry catch on to this! – Very creative and very original!
