It was our first time working at Laborie and we were astonished by their level of service and professionalism. It was very apparent that Van Aardt (groom) and Liesl are very much in love – they could not keep their hands off each other.
The bridal preps were done at Klein Vredenburg guest house, close to Laborie. Andre’s creativity blossomed here with this shot of the shoes, below (hanging from a chandelier)

The outdoor ceremony was held on the patio outside the main hall. We had a time constraint on the photo session, but that did not stop us from getting some intimate shots in the vineyards of the estate. Liesl and Van Aardt got lost in their obsession with each other, so very little direction was needed to get the desired result.
The wedding was coordinated by the in house planner at Laborie – an excellent job was done with the decor. The restaurant can be described as a mix between old and new – fashionable, yet timeless. The two long tables added to the modern and simplistic feel the couple wanted.
Looks like the older crowd had one up on the youngsters at this weddings. They pulled out all the moves, had the style and energy and had an awesome time on the dance floor!
