Cadillac Eldorado….  I am sure this is how Mark wants me to start this post!  Oops, maybe I should say Xenia…!

Don’t worry, you can see more of the bride and groom’s faces by reading the rest of this post.

Yesterday I posted Mark & Xenia’s E-session photos, done at the V & A Waterfront – I wrote about Mark’s proposal troubles and a bit about their backgrounds.

Xenia had her preps done at 45 Marine drive in Hermanus – Man, you have to see the view from this guest house – amazing!  I cannot stress the importance of getting ready in a glam hotel or guest house.  It does something for the soul and makes you feel like a princess!  (I’m referring to the bride…)

The ceremony was conducted in the old stone church in Hermanus (St Peter’s Anglican).

Andre is blessed with a knack for capturing unique moments and expressions – just look at the brides maid’s concentration on the photo below.

If your wedding is still coming up, remember to have a bit of fun with the bridal party and family shots.   So much more can be done instead of the old traditional stand-in-a-line-and-smile shot!

The couple shoot was done on the rocks at Hermanus – This must be one of the most scenic spots in the world.  Andre also got a lot of Mark’s favourite car… that Cadillac Eldorado.

From Hermanus we moved on to La Vierge restaurant for the reception.  This wine estate is situated in the Hemel en Aarde Valley.  The restaurant has a modern artistic feel – with clear views of the amazing sunsets over Walker Bay.

Mark’s groomsmen had him play a series of games which had him blindfolded, having to identify his bride’s hands and legs….  Mark, I hear you had a bit of trouble in choosing the right pair of legs…

A bit of a Quiz:  What year model is the Cadillac Eldorado used in Mark & Xenia’s wedding?

Hermanus is one of South Africa’s top tourist destinations.  It is famous for whale watching and shark cage diving.  Hermanus is situated in Walker Bay in the Western Cape, only 1h30 drive from Cape Town.
