Kanu Wedding – Mia & Marco

Mia & Marco’s wedding was the first of two weddings we covered at Kanu wine estate on the same weekend! The other one was that of Dirk & Anna that I posted two weeks ago.
Mia is afrikaans and Marco a true Italion Stallion. They are very much in love and made great pics together.
The preps was done across the road from Kanu, at the Guest Cottages at Skilpadvlei. It was quite a windy day, as you can see on the picture of the ceremony canopy below. This time of the year the sun is an absolute scorcher and the wind helped to cool the guests down a bit.
Again, I must mention the canape’s and food at Kanu – It is top class! Nerine and her team works magic in that kitchen to create the most interesting and tasty fingerfood and the evening buffet is also a winner.
Kanu lends lots of photographic opportunities. Apart from having one of the best 360 degree view of the Stellenbosch area and mountains, it is also has great argitectural features, massive oaks and water features that makes stunnig pics.
