Intimate is the way to go!

It is not every day that you get to do a 3 hour photo shoot with your bride and groom! Rob & Anita’s wedding in Cape Town was a tad bit different to the usual. Coming in at 5, including the couple, this was the smallest wedding I have covered to date! But hey, did we have fun!
No expense was spared to make it the most memorable day for these two from the UK. Kim of Wedding Concepts was hired as coordinator – first the ceremony on the beach at Oude Kraal Nature Reserve and then the Reception at Kensington Place. For the couple shoots, we ferried our VIP’s around Cape Town, to 3 different locations, including Woodstock and sunset on the beach! The night ended with a spectacular fire performance by Firetribe!

The bridal preparations and reception venue, Kensington Place, impressed me a lot. This small boutique hotel, halfway up Table Mountain, is the perfect spot for an intimate wedding! The decor, furniture, decking and flowing cotton tiebacks speak chic, stylish Africa, fused with exotic island beach house. Kensington Place is also within walking distance of Cape Town city bowl – the mother city has to be explored on foot to feel the vibe!
