Heuwelsig Guest House is situated on a working wine farm sporting the same name.  It’s located just outside the main town of Franschhoek which means you get the serenity of the farm but also the convenience of having shops and restaurants at your doorstep.

Franschhoek is certainly one of the best tourist spots in the Western Cape of South Africa.  It lies in the heart of the winelands, surrounded by working wine farms and culture.  When on holiday in South Africa you must spend a day or two in Franschhoek to appreciate and soak in the atmosphere and serenity of one of the oldest wine producing areas of the new world.
