Heuwelsig Guest House

Heuwelsig Guest House is situated on a working wine farm sporting the same name.  It’s located just outside the main town of Franschhoek which means you get the serenity of the farm but also the convenience of having shops and restaurants at your doorstep.

Heuwelsig offers an authentic country home experience.  The old farm house was restored and extended to offer 3 en-suite bedrooms that can accommodate up to 6 people.   The bedrooms and living areas are spacious and homely; decorated in an old french style.

Apart from the main house, Heuwelsig also has a private swimming pool and pool bar area, combined with a spa and beauty treatment facilities.

It’s a one-stop-shop for the bride:

• Check in the night before for a fun evening with your bridesmaids.
• Have a beauty treatment and massage the morning before, to get rid of the jitters.
• Get your make-up and hair done on the stoep while sipping champagne and admiring the Franschhoek vineyards and mountains.
• Return to the beautiful, private honeymoon suite after the wedding to complete the perfect experience.

Franschhoek is certainly one of the best tourist spots in the Western Cape of South Africa.  It lies in the heart of the winelands, surrounded by working wine farms and culture.

When on holiday in South Africa you must spend a day or two in Franschhoek to appreciate and soak in the atmosphere and serenity of one of the oldest wine producing areas of the new world.
