Mosselberg on Grotto is an amazing Guest House in Hermanus. I think I will have my 10 year wedding anniversary here! It has so much to work with, interesting decor, interesting architecture and water features – in all it’s just a great space!

This is one of the best weddings we have covered so far this year. The wedding was coordin ated by Karla Oettler of Absolute Wedding and Event Coordination. Karla’s originality and creativity is priceless. Every wedding she does is unique and customised to reflect the taste and personalities of the couple.
Karla together with Alwyn of Okasie, (flowers & decor) created a masterpiece by combining the great features of the venue with intuitive design and fresh ideas.

The contraption in the photo below must be one of the must-have’s of the season! It is called the Wedding Cup and it is made by the guys at Warwick Wine Estate near Stellenbosch. The two sides of this cup is filled with wine. The bride and groom must then drink from this cup together – a bit of a trick, as only one person is supposed to hold it – Justin…. you’re not supposed to hold the small cup!! What a cool idea!
