Melani & Justin booked us through Karla Oettler of Absolute Weddings (the Coordinator).   Karla, you did a wonderful job with the coordination and sourcing of vendors.

The beach ceremony was held at Lovers Beach in Hermanus and the reception at Mosselberg Guest House on Grotto Beach.  This is also where Melani did her preps.

Beach weddings are the epitome of a romantic love declaration – but it comes with a fair amount of stress about the weather conditions on the day.  Luckily it turned out to be the perfect sunny, blue sky day!  The only thing Karla and her crew forgot was that it was Spring tide (extreme high tide with full moon) – it meant they had to move the chairs back 3 times while setting up!!!

Justin is an avid biker and enjoys his Harley Davidson very much.  His only request of the day was that the Melani and himself would drive to the reception on the Harley – why not??
