After a super wet winter here in Cape Town, we were blessed with perfect blue skies last Saturday with Nicci & Steve’s wedding at Le’r Mitage in Franschhoek – Our first wedding for the South African season. Facial expressions spices up any photo – this wedding OD’d on expressions of all kinds!

After having such a fun time with Nicci and Steve at their E-session, I knew that the wedding shots would be fab as well.
The bridal preps, at Maison Chablis Guest House, was more like watching a comedy show than doing a photo shoot! Girls, I give it to you – you can put up a show!
Both the ceremony and reception took place at Le’r Mitage. This brand new venue is perfect for smaller weddings of up to 60 guests. It is set on the foot of the hill with breathtaking views over the Franschhoek Valley, vineyards and Drakenstein Mountains.
But it has plenty more than just a stunning view – The on-site Chapel, awesome restaurant overlooking a lake, stylish decor, chic gentleman’s bar and plenty of 5-star accommodation makes Le’r Mitage the versatile venue it is!
See Nicci & Steve’s Pre-wedding shoot, done on the beach at Camps Bay.
