When asked to cover the photography of the Running Bride, Cape Town,  we were told that we could shoot where ever we wanted…. as long as it was interesting and unconventional…

The Grand Beach & Cafe in the V&A Watersfront with its French Riviera feel immediately sprung to mind!  They agreed for us to shoot there and “Voila”…  The next day Cape Town saw some rugby playing brides getting dirty in the sand…

I’m sure most of you have heard of the running bride project by now!  If not, have a look at the Running Bride Cape Town Facebook page.

More than 50 of the most talented wedding service providers, models and crew worked together to make this day a reality.   Andre’s wife, Fralene is a very distinguished Make-up artist, a true wizard with the brush!  In the video we released today, you’ll see a bit more about Fralene Make-up and plenty more hints of what this day was about.

In April the ZaraZoo team was involved in one of the most exciting projects that the Cape Town wedding industry has seen to date!  It was a project of enormous scale…

  • 4 Make-up Artists & 4 Hair Stylists
  • 4 Locations
  • 5 Photographers & 3 Videographers
  • 20 Sports & vintage cars, including 3 vintage Cobra’s & 2 brand new Ferrari’s
  • Long Str in Cape Town blocked of for 4 hours!
  • 30m long bridal table set up in the middle of Long Street by the Aleit Group!
