I would rate this photo of the groom and his entourage under the top 20 ever shot by ZaraZoo! It resonates all that we aim to get from an image.
A photo must have most of the following qualities to be classified as good: Visually stimulating; Storytelling; Thought provoking; Unusual moment in time; Framed well; Emotive.
Lauren & Craig’s wedding had plenty of these moments. Read the full post by clicking on the image above.
The bridal preparations was done at Kleine Zalze Lodge, across the road from Blaawklippen, the ceremony and reception venue. Lauren had a wapping 4 bridesmaids, all getting ready in the same room – you can imagine the scene!
I don’t know why, but putting on the veil is always a mission – they should design a veil for dummies – Oops Janice, what did you do to her head!

The ceremony was conducted on the lawn under the big oak trees. Although these giants helps a lot with blocking the harsh sun, the light spots make it difficult from a photographers point of view. Blaawklippen has all you can expect from a Cape Wine Estate – the vinyards, the gables, the space and an awesome view of the majestic Stellenbosch mountains.

Who said that group shots should be stiff and uninterresting. I quite like the couch on the grass set-up. What do you think ?
