A bit of Colour

Waterfront E-session - ZaraZoo Photography

Who can guess where this E-session was done…?   Lower down this post it is a dead give away, but hard to tell from the first few images.

Mark and Xenia live in the UK.  Mark’s a saffer and Xenia… well hard to say.  In her lifetime, she’s lived in Australia, the UK and South Africa!   Looks like South Africa is the running theme, so we will go for that.  And the also chose to get married here in South Africa.  Andre shot their wedding last weekend in Hermanus – these wedding pics will be posted soon.  Let us notify of this future post.

Yes, the photo below gives it away…  The V&A waterfront!

For Mark proposing came with a few hick-ups.  He had a master plan worked out to ask Xenia for her hand on a Ski Trip in Europe, but the day before he could pop the big question, his plan was hi-jacked.  A friend stole his idea and proposed to his missus in the same way.  Mark would have looked like a copy cat, so he had to postpone.

Try number 2 was to ask Xenia on a romantic walk along the banks of the Thames.  Guess what…  God’s blessing was on it, because it poured with rain… But Mark did it!  From there on everything was plain sailing.

Andre found the most amazing spots and textures at the Waterfront Market – great wall art and old signs – perfect background for a colourful and interesting engagement shoot.

The E-session is designed to make the couple more relaxed in front of the camera before the big day.  It also helps us to see wh at angles make you look the best – If you want your wedding pics to be amazing, a pre-wedding shoot is a must!

The Victoria and Alfred Waterfront is one of South Africa’s most visited tourist spots.  It is set in the Cape Town harbour, with amazing views of Table mountain and the atlantic ocean.
