The day before I shot Nikki and Toni’s wedding in Bredasdorp, I met up with Thereza and Leon to have some fun on the dunes and beach at Arniston.
I will be shooting their wedding on the 20th of December at Nightwatch, half way between Arniston and Bredasdorp. The M-Net series “Ella Blue” was actually shot at the fisherman’s cottages at this venue & Arniston.
These guys are totally in love and up for anything! It was not my idea for them to wear matching outfits, but it worked perfectly. The blue jeans against the soft beach colours was a winner!

Who said a wedding photographer has a cushy job…? Check me out on the cliff on the left. Sometimes you have to risk a bit to get that great shot that people expect you to get!! The very next image is the one that I took from that spot.
I am so looking forward to shooting this wedding. I can’t wait to get Thereza back on that dune – this time in a wedding dress – and if the weather plays along we will also have a beautiful sunset in the background!
Just the day before I did their e-session, we discovered that I am also doing Thereza’s best friend, Louis’s Wedding in Harrismith this coming weekend… and Thereza and Leon will also be there… Also, Louis and his wife Marieke, will be attending Thereza’s wedding! Bizarre!
