Wayne & Anneli is yet another couple that lives in the UK, but will be getting married here in Cape Town at the Twelve Apostles. While in London, Andre met up with them in Bushy Park, close to Hampton Court Palace, for their E-session.

After a super wet winter here in Cape Town, we were blessed with perfect blue skies last Saturday with Nicci & Steve’s wedding at Le’r Mitage in Franschhoek – Our first wedding for the South African season. Facial expressions spices up any photo – this wedding OD’d on expressions of all kinds!

Even though we shot weddings and E-sessions all across Europe, UK and in Thailand over the last 3 months, I must admit that the Western Cape here in South Africa, is still my favourite destination! And how can you disagree when you look at this fun photo session we did with Nicci and Steve on the beach at Camps Bay.

I’ll be shooting Chris and Gillian’s wedding in 2010. As so many of our clients, they also live and work in London, but will be returning to their roots, in South Africa, to tie the knot.
We met up near Tower Bridge and had planned to work our way down to Borough Market…. but we were caught in the ever unexpected British rain shower. A famous photographer once said that you should hope for rain, because it makes things interesting – I can vow for that now!

Denise and Kofi’s Catholic wedding was one of the last of our UK summer weddings. It was a stylish central London affair with the ceremony held at the Brompton Oratory and the reception at the Savile Club in Mayfair.

The Intercontinental Hotel on Hyde Park is a symbol of status and opulence! For Leonard & Sue, there was no other choice than to host their extravagant wedding at this plush hotel.
The day was set in two parts. At the English Civil wedding in the morning Sue paraded a fabulous white gown and for the reception later that afternoon she changed into a mythical traditional Indian wedding dress.

In the Western Cape, very few weddings happen in the winter months (June, July & August) – that is why ZaraZoo moves its operations north for the UK summer. This year was a bumper year for us in the UK, with no less than 20 shoots around London, Liverpool, Oxford and Paris.
This wedding at Knowsley Hall near Liverpool, was the last day of 3 days we covered for Raj & Arvinder. See the other 2 days by clicking the links below:

Dominic & Karen’s wedding will be at Backsberg Wine Estate in Feb 2010. We met up at at Hampton Court Palace for their E-session. It was a rare blue-sky day in the UK, this after about 2 weeks of daily showers.
ZaraZoo offers FREE E-sessions to all out Platinum Package clients. It is the ideal opportunity to get to know us, so that we’re no strangers to each other when it comes to the wedding day. It also gives you some vaulale posing time to break down any fears you might have for the camera! by the end of such a pre-wedding shoot I guarantee you feeling at ease with us and more comfortable in front of the lens.

“Taking a smoke break” – one of my favourite photos of our recent weddings in the UK! Philippa & Gerard, both New Zealanders, live and work in the UK. They chose the quaint Barnsley House in the Costwold as their wedding venue.
When Philippa first enquired with us to cover their wedding, they planned to get married in South Africa. But after a while they decided to move the wedding to the UK to accommodate more of their friends. And luckily it was smack bang in the middle of the English summer when ZaraZoo operates in the UK.
