International Wedding Photographers ZaraZoo Wedding Photography – Cape Town

Kundai and Partick’s wedding was one of the most lavish we did this season.  The wedding coordinators, Wedding Concepts, were given a blank canvas with this one – and what an amazing job they did!  Pity the rain messed things up a bit… but with a pretty bride like Kundai, you can only get great results!!

Part 1 of this wedding focuses on the preparations and ceremony that happened at Clouds Estate.

The IPL T20 has hit SA…  Indian Premier League cricket if you have not heard about it…

The IPL is big business – with an enormous following in cricket mad countries like India.  The games are short and exciting with and electric atmosphere around it -  only 20 overs per side (T20).  While sixes and fours are being hit, the crowd is entertained by music rockstars and cheerleader dancers with sexy moves!  This is not the boring cricket of old!!

ZaraZoo covered the behind-the-scenes of a recent game at Newlands Cricket Ground.

Asian weddings in the UK are totally different to those we normally cover here in South Africa… but we love them!!

Every year, Andre and myself spend a combined total of 10 weeks in the UK – to cover the wedding season there.  Here are some images of a wedding Andre did in London last week.

That’s what I thought for a while…   And then I decided to give it another shot on Monday.  Its so coool!!

Basically, it’s a way to stay in touch with what’s happening in the world when it happens!   For instance, if I’m following CNN on twitter, I will be notified of news as it happens – to my mobile phone and my laptop!

So, you no longer have to go to a website or blog to look for new content – just follow them on twitter and you are sorted!!

Here’s a few steps that will make it easier for you.

1. Sign up to Twitter.
2. Search for friends, people, websites and news you want to follow.
3. Set up a twitter application on your cell phone – I’m using Pocket Twit (It’s free)
4. Set up Tweet Deck on your desktop or laptop.  Tweet Deck allows you to follow Facebook Status & Twitter and update your status for both from one application. (It’s free)!!

Here’s some people I am following you might know…

1. Richard Branson
2. Christine Meintjes
3. Jeremy Clarkson
4. Bill Gates

Be warned…. It is very addictive!!  But be sure to receive the latest news from your friends and favourite blogs as soon as they update their status!!

Yip, that’s me up there on top of the tower…

I did a post-wedding shoot (TTD) with Shahnaz and Robert on Friday – still editing though.  Man, I got some killer shots!!!  Some of the pics I will post will be quite a bit different to our normal stuff.  Don’t quite know how to classify it – you just have to see it!!!

This wedding was a big test for my stamina as I had run my first TWO OCEANS half marathon the same morning of the wedding!!  All I can say is…. the training paid off.  I saw a few other guests limping around though!!!

Zorgvliet is another great all-in-one wedding venue in the Cape Winelands.  Apart from the Zorgvliet Guest House & Spa that is the perfect bridal preparations spot, it also has a very cute little chapel and a reception venue on the estate.

Yolanda & Nic chose Zorgvliet because of all these great facilities – It made planning their wedding from the UK a lot easier.

Just got this pic from Andre (the other half of ZaraZoo).  It was taken at Dubai Airport just before he boarded the new Airbus A380-800 to London!  Andre says this baby flies so smooth, it feels like you are parked somewhere in mid-air!

Oh, If you do not know what all the fuss is about… the Airbus A380 is the biggest passenger plane ever built.  It is a double decker plane that can seat 525 passengers and even has a full bar in the First Class area!!!

The beautiful Montpellier Wine Estate in Tulbagh was the chosen spot for Dave & Fiona’s wedding last week.  Fiona was born and bred in South Africa and Dave is an Ausie.  Like so many of our clients, they live in London, but came back to South Africa to tie the knot.
